Mabel Revival is a hilarious and ruthless mix of dance, performance and cabaret. The choreographer Liisa Pentti and the musician Gonazalo Muruaga Olguin are taking their audience into a charmed world of the female divas, those icons of our adoration and objects of our desire. Mabel is a woman without remorse, a female diva and shaman-performer. To celebrate life one needs to speak about death and embrace the realms where we can enter only in our dreams – thus the story of Mabel Revival.

Mabel Revival är en rolig och upprörande blandning av dans, performance och gör-det-själv-kabaret. Koreografen, dansaren Liisa Pentti och musikern Gonzalo Muruaga Olguin leder publiken in i divornas mystiska och förtrollade värld, där beundran och begär blandas. Mabel hade premiär i oktober 2008 på Zodiak – Centre for New Dance och har sedan dess framförts på olika platser och evenemang.
